Picnic Day is the largest event at my university that is full of entertainment and activities. I worked as the Graphics Assistant Director for the 111th Picnic Day where I created stickers, pins, and other visual assets through feedback and communication with my director and design team.
The theme of the 111th Picnic Day was "Wonderland." The graphics team decided on a pastel color palette with a whimsical and fantasy theme while integrating UC Davis imagery.
I illustrated all my digitally designs in Procreate.
For the stickers, I decided on animal characters having a tea party surrounded by flowers to embody the wonderland theme and the spring season.
I designed name tags for the Picnic Day team and volunteers to wear on the day of the event.
For the Picnic Day team, I designed pins to accompany their pins to wear. This pin above was for the Entertainment team.
On the day of Picnic Day, I worked with the entire team to prepare for Picnic Day. Throughout the day, I sold and distributed merchandise.
